The Hopeful Home for orphans and Helpless Children (the Orphanage) is an independent, non-profit, non political and non religious charitable organization established in March 2002 by two Nepali women named Mrs. Bhubaneswori Pandey and Mrs. Gopini Wosti to provide orphans, street children and helpless children at risk with food, shelter, education, healthcare and other basic needs.
The Orphanage operates under the auspices of the Social Welfare council of Nepal (affiliation number 13254) and Civil District Office of Kathmandu (register number - 680-058/059). The Orphanage is located at Banasthali in its own house in Balaju area of Kathmandu, currently houses 20 children aged between 6 and 17 and a staff of 5 comprising two full time volunteer and three employees.....

People are heartily requested to sponsor children. This sponsorship is for the children who don’t have family and home. In most cases, the support is given to orphans, street children and victims of arm conflicts. US $ 1050.00 will fully support a child for one year. This money spend on education, food, accommodation, health care and others.
We request that the sponsorship to continue for many years, so as to allow the sponsored children complete primary education. Sponsors will receive regular reports from the school related to the children and from the orphanage. We encourage them to contact the children by mail or visiting. It is extremely gratifying to see the changes and developments that take place when a child is supported by sponsorship / donations to Hopeful Home..... |

| To secure the future, the long term goal for the orphanage is to found its own home so as to provide quality accommodation for homeless children. At the moment we are in a small house in the city. We had just bought this house... |
